THE entries have been confirmed for the year’s opening Players Championship events, to be held on February 17 & 18 in Barnsley. The two £75,000 PDC ProTour events will feature fields of 128 players as they compete across the weekend. Coverage will be streamed live from two boards simultaneously for all PDCTV-HD Subscribers worldwide throughout each event. Play on each day will commence at 12pm, with results being available at www.pdc.tv. ENTRIES for the six Coral UK Open Qualifiers have been confirmed. The six £60,000 tournaments will be held over the next two weekends at the Robin Park Tennis Centre, as PDC Tour Card Holders and PDPA Associate Members compete for spots in March’s Coral UK Open in Minehead. PDPA Associate Members who did not make the 256-player field for any the UK Open Qualifiers are now permitted to enter the Rileys Amateur Qualifiers. UK Open Qualifiers One and Four, on Friday February 2 and Friday February 9, will begin at 2pm, with the Saturday and Sunday events to commence at 12pm. The pair of £75,000 tournaments will be held in the run-up to the Unibet World Grand Prix at the Citywest Hotel, as a field of PDC Tour Card Holders and PDPA Associate Members compete in two one-day PDC ProTour events. The pair of £75,000 tournaments will be held at the Barnsley Metrodome, as 128 players compete in the latest ProTour weekend. The weekend will begin on Friday August 4 with the UK Qualifier for European Tour events Ten and 11, the HappyBet German Darts Grand Prix and HappyBet International Darts Open.
