THE entries have been confirmed for Players Championship events 13 & 14, which will be held in Wigan on June 16-17. The double-header of £75,000 tournaments will see a field of 128 players competing on each day at the Robin Park Tennis Centre, with PDC Tour Card Holders joined by PDPA Associate Members. Play on each day will commence at 12pm. Each tournament will feature live streaming in PDCTV-HD, with coverage simultaneously from two boards being broadcast for all subscribers worldwide. Entries Confirmed For Gibraltar & Denmark
ENTRIES have been confirmed for the PDC European Tour events in Gibraltar and Denmark in June ahead of the forthcoming UK Qualifiers. The sport’s top players will return to ‘The Rock’ from June 8-10 for the sixth staging of the PDC European Tour event, which will see 48 players competing across three days at the Victoria Stadium. Michael Smith will be defending his title in the tournament, while two-time winner Michael van Gerwen and 2014 champion James Wade are also amongst the 16 seeded players. The European Tour will then visit Denmark for the first time from June 22-24, where the Brondby Hallen in Copenhagen will host the year’s eighth £135,000 tournament. ENTRIES for the six Coral UK Open Qualifiers have been confirmed. The six £60,000 tournaments will be held over the next two weekends at the Robin Park Tennis Centre, as PDC Tour Card Holders and PDPA Associate Members compete for spots in March’s Coral UK Open in Minehead. PDPA Associate Members who did not make the 256-player field for any the UK Open Qualifiers are now permitted to enter the Rileys Amateur Qualifiers.
